The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides free federal and state tax preparation and filing for people who qualify. VITA has been helping communities for over 50 years by training IRS-certified volunteers to prepare accurate federal and state tax returns. The program is designed for individuals and families who need reliable, free, and trustworthy tax services.
At Hollywood Tax Center, our certified volunteers are here to prepare and e-file your taxes with care. We handle most simple to moderately complex returns, and every return goes through a quality review before filing. Our goal is to make tax filing easy, stress free, and completely free for those who qualify!
VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including:
People who generally make $67,000 or less
Persons with disabilities; and
Limited English-speaking taxpayers
Some returns are considered out of scope. Please view Publication 3676-B (en-sp) (Rev. 12-2024) to review the scope.
